Mike will kill me for posting this, but it was too funny to pass up. A couple months ago at the house, he was trying to do yoga and the kids decided to join in. It was just funny how serious they were at it. I think they actually liked it. This is also why I begged Mike for a gym membership. He is crazy to think it is even halfway possible to work out at the house with a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 2 month old. If they aren't whining, they are trying to work out with you and sometimes it isn't nearly this cute!

Texas Roots
Gracie got some new cowboy boots from her Grandma in the mail about a week ago and has been wearing them constantly ever since. I think she mainly wears them because she wants to be just like her brother who wears his almost everyday! I have said this about Gracie a thousand times, but she is the perfect combination of girly girl and tomboy. She will be wearing a princess dress and jewelry outside while playing football in the mud with the boys. It is hilarious. Here are a few pictures of her dancing with her new boots on.

Cade was able to ride a mechanical bull at the local farm festival a few weeks ago. He was so excited because he made it 8 seconds before being thrown off. Gracie gave it a try, but was screaming after about 1 second to get down. Mike is trying his best to keep our kids as Texan as possible!

Dancing Queen and the Joker
Gracie had Visitor's Day at dance class this week. I consider it a huge success because she a. performed, b. did not have any meltdowns or tantrums, and c. looked great doing it! I am so proud of her and how far she has come with her confidence. A few months ago, there would have been no way she would have done that in front of a room full of parents. She just loves dance class! I am including a video of her tap and ballet routines. Keep in mind she is the youngest in the class!
Cole is a smiler now! Here are a few pictures of what I could catch of him smiling. They are all pretty funny.

November NorEaster
This week we had our first experience with a Noreaster. It was CRAZY. School was actually canceled for 2 days. SO after having Veterans Day off on Wed and then a "Rain Day" on Thursday and Friday....I am definitely going a little stir crazy with the 3 little ones. We have been stuck inside basically 24/7 because the winds have been 50 mph plus and it is flooding everywhere. We kept watching the "lake" in the backyard and the "river" in the front yard creep closer and closer to the house. Luckily, it is starting to slow and the waters are receding. There are lots of broken branches all over the yard, but we were lucky not to have any trees fall down. All over base there are huge trees down, fences and signs that have fallen, and power out.
Cade braved the storm to help me get Lando fed and taken out to do his business. He had on cowboy boots, a ski jacket, and gloves and was outside for 15 minutes trying to get Lando to relieve himself since it had been 2 days since this had happened. I was waiting for a huge mess if we weren't successful. Luckily, Cade completed his mission and both boys came in soaked. Of course Mike is gone during all this and will never believe me when I tell him how bad it was. He is in California for a few weeks. I am kinda hoping the base isn't back to normal when he arrives so he can see that I wasn't exaggerating. :)
We did get out to go to the gym. I am on my gym craze trying to get back in shape after having Cole. About 30 pounds down and 10 more to go. Actually I would like it to be about 15-20 more to go. Wow I gain a lot while pregnant. My goal is to work on it while Mike is gone the next three months. It is easier to cook really healthy when he isn't around. Well....off to do exactly that....cook dinner!

Trying it Out!
Well, after viewing many friend's blogs for years, I have finally decided to give it a try. I never understood blogging because I didn't see why people were all that interested in viewing so much about other people's lives. I just didn't think anyone would actually follow mine! (and they may not, other than my mom) However, now that I have three little kids and we are a military family always on the move, I thought it would be a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. My parents are always begging me for pictures and videos, so this will be a great outlet to view them and keep up with what our crazy family has going on.
I of course will blog about my kids and husband. We have a 5 year old boy, a 3 year old girl, and an 8 week old boy. We are currently living in Virginia, but not for long. We will be moving to SC soon. I may also blog about other things going on in life. So....thanks for following!
